These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Cutout (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

What the Service does

Cutout lets you upload an image and receive back a version of that image with its background automatically removed. The Service is provided free of charge, without any account or signup requirement.

Your content and ownership

You retain full ownership of any photo you upload. Cutout does not claim any rights to your images. Uploaded photos are used solely to generate the requested cutout and are not stored by Cutout after your request completes, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and process any image you submit. Do not upload images that you do not own or do not have permission to use, or images that depict illegal content, are sexually explicit, or violate the rights of any third party.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or otherwise violates the rights of others.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or abuse the Service (for example, automated bulk submission designed to degrade the Service for other users).
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the Service's backend without permission.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law.

Advertising

Cutout may display advertising served by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense) to support the free availability of the Service. Ad content is selected and served by those third parties in accordance with their own policies; Cutout is not responsible for the content of individual ads.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that background removal will be perfect for every image, that the Service will be available without interruption, or that results will meet your specific requirements. Some images, particularly those with low contrast between subject and background, may produce imperfect results; the built-in "touch up" tool is provided to help correct these cases manually.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cutout and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update these Terms of Use or modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
